Goblin

The Goblins arrived about the same time as the Orcs, approximately 3000 years ago, but they came in on the eastern coast of Cuiveinen, at which is now Raeyithia. They arrived with the Tuatha De Danann to whom they were second class citizens at best and slaves at worst.

A kind historian might wish to claim that the Goblins were the Sidhe shock troops but its more likely they were simply cannon fodder.

History reports that the ancient Goblin was of significant size and possessed of a brute cunning and tactical prowess. They have since devolved like many of the Hoggur until they are simply of a smaller statue, though no less cunning. The average goblin is about four feet tall with green or dark blue skin, however, they can reach heights similar to that of ogres and may be confused with ogres occasionally.

To the average human, an orc almost always appears monstrous, but there is something about the goblin appearance and demeanor that engenders a certain amount of 'awww'. In truth, they are no less curiously formed, but perhaps it is the enlarged eyes, bulbous eyes, and toothy smiles that fail to generate the same hatred. At one point, a number of centuries ago, the goblins were permitted to build and maintain a village in the western part of Raeyithia where the Thorn King followers generally left them alone.

Occasional fanatics were known to try and convert them, but little was every heard from them again. Since the establishment of Golmeuse, clans of Orcs have found their way to the village and its deep halls.
