How to Train Skills
From Sanctuary Shard
Skills on Sanctuary should train in the normal way for UO. In addition, you can purchase limited training from NPCs as well as advanced " book skills" both of which are available on Master NPCs. Skills must be defined in your .spec to be trained.
Passive Skill Gain
Sanctuary also has passive skill gain, which means you will gain skills that are set in the .spec window simply by being logged in. You do not need to work the skills to gain. However, this is to encourage you to go role-play, not sit AFK in your house.
While many vendors and NPCs in UO train a variety of different skill, and many still do on Sanctuary as well, we have standardized the training to our Master NPCs. There is a complete selection of Master NPC;s on Summer Isle, and their locations have been indicated below.
