''The process for establishing an RPCSS Noble House/Guild changed after 9/1/18 when the shard went live.  The process now requires role-play establishment before an application is approved and the team set up in RPCSS.  This article will explain the process in detail but the basic concept is simple -- role-play comes first. <includeonly>[[:Talk:House Application|Read more ..]]</includeonly><noinclude>

After go live, we will no longer be accepting applications at random for Noble House/Guilds. Players will have to first establish a guild stone on summer isle and recruit PCs approved for the world map onto that guild stone. Then they will need to request in character permission to from the Kingdom's Royal House for an available plot of land. Available fortifications change from week to week as the RPCSS guilds/noble houses move around the map. The ruler of a kingdom can only give you land in a hex they already control and are willing to give up, or in a hex that is unclaimed but within their borders.

New noble houses will need the support of the ruling house to get up and running. Level one in RPCSS is anyone's meat. A new team will need gold and land to have a hope of surviving. Obviously some noble houses will reach their maximum size of 10 hexes and still not be the current Royal House for the kingdom. They too can give out hexes, but doing so would be considered a breach of protocol within the kingdom, and there may be consequences for both guilds/noble houses.
