Shard Plot Line

From Sanctuary Shard

Revision as of 18:52, 5 May 2020 by MamaWillow (talk | contribs)

Access to the world map is restricted to those player characters participating in the main shard plot line. The shard plot line is best furthered by characters who are already heroes and qualified in skills needed by guild/noble house leaders. We are looking for characters who have the following elements in their backstory.

Update: May 4th, 2020 May the force be with you ...

I am in the process of making changes to all wiki pages for RPCSS and Guilds/Noble Houses. If you see this on a page then assume that changes are being made. You may read an overview of the changes here.

Qualification

This storyline is like a Game of Thrones type of storyline, the farther your character is away from a profile that would have the skills to command armies, manage finances, recruit a spy network, gain followers, or rule a country, the more barriers you create between yourself and the main plot line.

Guild leaders are both creating and following the shard plot line, they have things they need other player characters to do. The more skills your character has by way of combat, political savvy, diplomacy, tactics, scouting, spying, etc, the more things your guild leader can include you in.

A Hero's Motivation

"If my character is not going to further some god's own agenda, why was my character brought here in the first place."

We are looking for characters that are already heroes and have garnered fame or respect in their previous lives. Heroes, villains and anti-heroes are more likely to get involved in world-changing storylines then a stay-at-home crafter. Further, we are looking for characters that wish to see their chosen god, kingdom, or noble house reach a position of power and prestige.

Ultimately, your character must be self-motivated to "get involved" rather then expecting other players to provide that motivation.

Strengths and Weaknesses

On the application please tell us what strengths, skills or experience your character will bring to their chosen guild, as well as what weaknesses, limitations or problems they have that other guilds may exploit.
