Tinkering is the art of creating tools and fine crafts from metal ingots.

Using

Use tinkering tools near a tinkering bench which can be found at most crafting areas and NPC Tinker shops. Not all tinker benches are usable, some are just deco.

Glassblowing (Book Skill)

Glassblowing is a book skill of Tinkering. Requires 80 to train the book skill. Requires a blowpipe and to be near a furnace to craft. See: UO Guide Glassblowing

Pottery (Book Skill)

The book, "The Art of Vase and Pottery Design", can be purchased from a master woodsman. Basket weaving also uses "pottery tools", craftable by Carpentry, and requires a kiln station to craft. Clay, which is harvestable by Mining is used to make pottery items.

Training

Skills on Sanctuary use our Grimmwold methods for skill training, including passive gains, 2 min timer activation, no difficulty checks, more than 1300 skill points using a .spec setting, and so on. In addition, you can purchase limited training from NPCs as well as advanced " book skills" both of which are available on Master NPCs. Read More ..
