There are five Kingdoms. The setting of the world is from a time period where kings rise and fall within years. Each kingdom will have a great house which is currently on the throne. There may then be another 1 to 3 Great Houses per kingdom which will be able to play RPCSS, competing for the individual thrones or control of the whole world. Banner houses will be fictional and will not play in RPCSS.

Maps & Facets

We will be using three of the UO maps. Summer Isle, a small pretty map with a completely custom land and buildings will be home to new players, casual RP, light hunting, crafting and "safe housing". Summer Isle is rate-PG and RP required. Summer Isle exist fictional in the waters to the west of Cuiviénen. Cuiviénen is using the main UO map, is thus much larger. Cuiviénen hosts the RPCSS armies and story line and requires an approved application to visit. Cuiviénen is rated "adults-only" and is RP required. The second map is used for Underhill. Underhill exists just below Cuiviénen and is our primary high end hunting map. Underhill is rated PG and is RP Optional. The player run story line resolves around Cuiviénen. Summer Isle and Underhill may have their own seer run storylines.

Sanctuary's primary story line is designed around land-based conflict between Noble Houses. We use a custom web-based game tool called RPCSS to manage the armed conflict, allowing the primary story arcs to be completely player-driven.
