| Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Are you a Witch?
A: I am
not a witch by either Pagan or Judea-Christian definition. I
do not worship or appeal to any pagan deities. I do not
practice outside of my Jewish faith. I make no use of icons or graven
images in my practice. I do not perform any method of
precognitive divination.
I do not do any work that is intended to be against G-d's will.
I Do Not Judge! Work Performed for any Race,
Creed, Color or Personal, Political, Religious or Sexual Preference
or Affiliation.
However, I loooooooooove Fairy Tale Witches and
Frogs/Toads. You know, the whole pointed hat, stripped
stockings and flying broom bit ... I just love them, and have a
small collection that keeps growing much to my husbands annoyance.
Q: What religion are you?
A: I am
a privately practicing non-affiliated Jew. And the thing
stuck on my door frame is called a
Mezuzah.
Q: What is Hoodoo?
A: For the best answer, I must refer you to the Lucky Mojo
site for
Hoodoo History.
Q: How soon can I expect results?
A: You should receive a sign that the work is going within
three days. This sign is normally something simple, an example
of money signs are as follows: Finding the $ on something
unexpected (I found it on a Joker card stuck under a bench), a lost
dollar in your pocket, an unusual coin or bill you've not seen
before, winning a few dollars on a lottery ticket, being bought
lunch by someone who never pays for anything. In short, signs
can be anything so keep an eye out.
However, within
three weeks you SHOULD receive
results. If you are doing money work, you SHOULD receive an
unexpected amount of money or other monetary result (this could
be a bill that was waived, a very accommodating bill collector or a
promising new client).
If you do not receive results in three weeks, you may not get
results for three months. However, I am terribly impatient
myself, so if you don't get results in three weeks, call me and
we'll try something else.
Q: What days do you start
work?
A: I
follow the traditional Hoodoo schedule for beginning certain work on
certain days, as per the chart below. However, I do my
blessing work on Friday Night, 18 minutes before sundown as that is
when I light the candles for the Jewish Sabbath. I will then
normally follow up with a second bit of work on Sunday.
Sunday: Success; Achievement; Goals;
Purification
Monday: Emotional Healing; Nurturing; Calming; Fertility
Tuesday: Protection; Conflict; War
Wednesday: Communications; Speed, Reversing Spells, Artistic;
Creativity; Road Opener
Thursday: Healing; Protection; Money
Friday: Love, and Drawing (often money drawing - because Venus is associated with the color green,
and Friday was and is associated with payday), Blessings (as
part of my personal religious practice)
Saturday: Crossing, Cursing, Debauchery
Q: Where did you get all the pictures on the
website?
A: With the exception of the pictures on the links page and
the top and bottom artwork, all the pictures were taken in my home.
