Other Kingdoms

The Zuberi, especially the Jabbah are accepting of strangers in their city. The traditions of hospitality extend even to visitors from other kingdoms. They are eager tradesmen and interested in what new goods can be sold or exported. Ajami (foreigners) are always welcomed, many Jabbah are interested in other languages, foreign foods and dress. The climate of foreign lands is always a topic of interest. Jabbah are proud to show off the wonders of the Zuberi lands, and are more then willing to help outfit ajami with the proper food and supplies to make their stay more comfortable. However, if an Ajami is to act in a dishonorable manner while visiting the Zuberi lands, they may well be hard pressed to find such hospitality show to them again.

The Shaula are perhaps a bit more reserved where strangers are concerned but are unlikely to turn away anyone in need. Most times a stranger stumbling upon an oasis in use by a Shaula tribe will be offered  a nights stay, some food and water and directions to the nearest city.

In recent times the mines have been opened to outsiders, causing some Zuberi to grumble about waning ore supplies in their own lands. The secret of the salt mines is still closely guarded.
