Imports and ExportsArjat is seem by the Jabbah as a center of trade within the Deserts of the Zuben. The deserts are rich with many a resource for trade. Included are animals such as cattle, sheep and goats and food stuffs although this is rarely exported to other kingdoms. Some resource that are shipped to other kingdoms include fine cloth, gold mined from the Raksa mines, and salt. The Zuberi see all the resource of the Zuben as gifts from Acrab. Things traded within Zuben include thick hides skinned off of cattle bred by the Shaula. These hides are often used in the construction of homes. Brick and Stone are also highly prized in Arjat for the finest homes are made from pure sand stone. The Zuberi (the Jabbah in particular) are a trading peoples. Foods in particular are prized and Zuberi often import exotic foods from other kingdoms. In the way of weapons and tools the Zuberi hold the feeling that outsiders (meaning someone who doesn't live in Zuben someone who moved to Zuben and lives there would not be considered an outsider) do not have the experience with there lands to make weapons and tools that fit them and most Zuberi turn to a local craftsmen rather than import goods no matter how high quality those goods might be. (That's only for things that crafters make not materials) |
