The Valgarin kingdom borders a great sea. High in the mountains, in small valleys surrounded by snow capped ridges, are the mountain homes of the Skoll. Traveling up to these little areas is through narrow mountain passes. The people have learned to train birds to help with communication. The Dverge live higher up in the mountains, near there mines. The highlands are nestled at the foot of the mountain, rough moors and sweeping hills, hiding dark stormy lochs. Some foods can be grown, but only of the hardier varieties. Potatoes are a common staple. The Skoll raise a type of long haired goat to make the softest wools, while the Ceiki raise sheep that produce a heavier and coarser, but more abundant type of wool.

Grimmwold is a private free Ultima Online shard.  We focus on roleplay, or RP was its called.  Role-players will find an exciting and flexible fantasy world based on Grimm Fairy Tales, European Myth and Lore, and some modern children stories such as Narnia featured in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.  However we are an adults only role-play game, privately hosted on our own online server.  Ultima Online is an older MMORPG game created many years back by OSI and now owned be EA.  For those who are fans of UO, and fans of RP, Ultima Online has maintained an incredible following both on the public servers and private shards such as ours.
