Social OrganizationWith in the CityAnneaudar This is the leader of the City of Lethe’aime, there may only be one leader at a time. Anneaudar has the supreme executive authority over all with or associated within the city. When the Anneaudar resigns, is slain or is impeached, the “council” will convene at their earliest convenience behind closed doors to raise a new Anneaudar. It will be done by open ballot, and one cannot vote for themselves, nor can one abstain. In the event of a stalemate, the one who has been Asoi d’Anneau longest shall ascend. If the Anneaudar is slain, all members shall dress in black for a week as he or she lies in state in public. Immediately following the funeral, a new Anneaudar will be announced. The Council Comprised of the heads of each of the guilds -- these are the Asoi d’Anneau, the leaders of each of the guilds, though the guilds may use different titles. Outside the CityThe Upright Man Who the Upright Man is no one really knows. In most of Lethe’s history he has been a secret. He seems to hold some power over the Anneaudar, which allows the city outside of the walls to continue as it always has. The Gang of Five It is believed that a council of five individuals know who the Upright Man. These five are the leaders of the strongest of the gangs outside of the city. |
