General Overview of Homes:

The Nobles live in oriental style homes with lacquered paper walls and dark woods. The furniture is oriental, but with a lot of soft draping fabrics.

Shops high on the mountain are also quite elegant, this is `uptown`.

The Ji'Ken people live in oriental wood and paper homes raised on pylons. They are worn dark with age however, not light wood. They are traditionally single story, however under the homes maybe gardens, stables and workshops.

• Pillows, incense, oriental carved furniture (the more crisp style, not the overly ornate Chinese), on the floor writing desks, rich fabrics draped across low couches
• The servants and scribe sitting on pillows on the floor
• Palm fronds waved as fans
• Windows covered in sheer silky white curtains, draping to the floor moving in the breeze
• All hard craved exotic furniture, Furniture made from the finest woods, intricately carved
• Soft light pouring in through large arching doorways
• Red and black is a common color theme
• Banners on exterior walls rather than mosaics
• Houses are open and cool
