Fiction you MUST do

  1. Physical descriptions must be in line with the culture.  I know a lot of people like to be unusual, and I respect that, however with the exception of minor descriptions, hair, skin and eye color must match the descriptions here.

Fiction you CAN'T do

This lists those topics that are definitely NOT in this culture.

  1. There are no samurai or ninja in this culture.  There is no traditional samurai armor.
  2. The only oriental weapons in use are the katana and tanto - at this time.
  3. Interracial breeding is HIGHLY frowned upon and approvals for this type of char are going to be very very rare.

Perm Death

Unlike on Sanctuary, there IS a number of actions within the culture that will earn you the loss of your character (i.e. a forced character change.)  This will list those actions that will cause this to happen.

  1. Open dealing or collaboration with the Oni.
  2. Attempted destruction of a Natami stone. (Stealing one is not necessarily PD.)
  3. Intended insult to the Emperor or High Priestess in their presence. (Plotting behind their back would be acceptable.)
  4. Open rebellion/war against the Empire.
  5. Wanton destruction of property. This does include the property of foreign merchants.
  6. Openly profaning the Goddess.
  7. Revealing another as an assassin. (Syrith Nilath)

Grimmwold is a private free Ultima Online shard.  We focus on roleplay, or RP was its called.  Role-players will find an exciting and flexible fantasy world based on Grimm Fairy Tales, European Myth and Lore, and some modern children stories such as Narnia featured in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.  However we are an adults only role-play game, privately hosted on our own online server.  Ultima Online is an older MMORPG game created many years back by OSI and now owned be EA.  For those who are fans of UO, and fans of RP, Ultima Online has maintained an incredible following both on the public servers and private shards such as ours.
