AnimalsType of goat from which milk and other dairy products can be made, but meat is only eaten by the poorest. Game birds, similar to peacock, Cornish game hens, and pheasant. Most of these kind of game birds are wild, and only the Ji'Ken have been able to raise a few. They go wild easily and are difficult to tame. Lizard mounts, the Jillhani have almost no horses except what they import, and most ride a form of lizard creature. The Jillhani keep elegant fish and snakes as pets in elaborate tanks. Wild AnimalsNot all animals thrive in the wilds of Bishani. The following is a list of what could be found wild in Bishani
DomesticAnimals can be gotten from other kingdoms and will do well in a farm setting as individual creatures.
Keeping HerdsThe only animals that can be raised in large herds in Bishani are pigs, chickens and goats. Cows and Sheep do not have enough land to roam in. (The question of "keeping herds" does not come in until animal breeding is finished. But when that is completed, there will be a limit on the sizes of herds for certain animals as listed above.) Eki LizardEki are a large lizard looking wild beast who is quite popular amongst
Jillhani warriors due to its speed, strength and ferocious protectiveness of its
master/mistresses. They vary in colors but are most commonly seen in dark greens
around the ji'ken areas, and dark brown to blood red the higher up you go into
the mountains. Their hides are covered in hard scales which look like armor.
They seem to be the ancestors of similar creatures spotted in the other realms
namely Zuben. It is thought that in the old days one of the Joushu's gave two to
the Priest King of Zuben as a gift, and the desert offspring were born. Eki milk is also known to heal certain ailments as well as being nutritious
and is a prized beverage. Female Eki trill in high to mid tones and are less
temperamental than males, but still equally protective of their
mistress/masters. Eki only breed once every 50 years so they are very hard to
find, and much more harder to mate. Owning an Eki that has accepted you as a
Master/Mistress is seen as a blessing of Ji'Kalna as its was her who chose them
to protect her children
