Imports and ExportsDyrling imports are generally handled by inspection stations at the entrances to the kingdom. All goods on the caravans are thoroughly inspected for illegal contents. The king of the Dyrlings generally take great caution to see to it that anything brought within the kingdom meets certain criteria before entering the lands. Commonly imported goods include Rich Valgarin furs, Exotic Jillhani Silks and Sweet smelling perfumes and glasswork from the Zuberi people. The Dyrlings openly trade with all major races despite their differences. Dyrlings export some of the most valued goods in existence as they are very famous for their durability and artistic talent in their crafts. Things that are sold frequently include pottery, richly colored clothing, blankets, artwork, and several types of non-perishing prepared dishes for the richer nobles. Most Dyrling work bears artwork somewhere on the goods to mark them as Dyrling products. Dyrling goods are known for high quality and they take pride in that reputation. Prices involved in imports and exports are settled with all involved in the trade and the Dyrling government takes no responsibility in mandating the costs and values involved in traded goods. Only the quality of goods is inspected when wares are brought into or out of the kingdom. |
