Criminals and OutcastsCriminal's per se are rare in Telrae'dor, as most Dyrlings take their punishment with good grace and then seek to return to their lives and families. However, rouges, charmers, gamblers and con men can still be found in the main city. They are usually as a group charming, intelligent and quick witted. Murder (as opposed to a fight to the death) and rape are met with extreme force by the Dyrlings and as such these occurrences are almost unheard of. Petty thievery, smuggling and other softer crimes are handled with typical Dyrling respect for life and the laws are general light, as most Dyrlings are more ashamed of the loss of respect by their peers then any kind of punishment. Those who flee from punishment or even feel ashamed often find themselves in the Queen's grove, the largest of the three Telrae'dor forests. It is rumored that deep within the forest live a group of criminals who have found their own form of Dyrling family and brotherhood. (OOC: there are criminals among the Dyrlings, but they are not hard-core.) |
